The Kiln Process

Forged in fire, sculpted by the sea.

We don't strive for perfect symmetry or uniform colors. Every mug, bowl, and vase we produce represents a dance between water, Cornish soil, and fire.

We gather seaweed from Mount's Bay, dry it, and place it in the kiln. During the firing, the sea minerals vaporize, fusing onto the clay surfaces in unpredictable, shimmering copper and charcoal hues.
